After a long day of sightseeing during my recent first trip to Washington DC and being that i was completely exhausted from being in the heat, I needed to get something to eat while waiting for my train at Union Station. So that's when I saw a Shake Shack at Union Station, and I immediately chose there to eat. And it definitely hit the spot. The bacon cheeseburger and spicy cheese fries were amazing!! It didn't take long for the food to come out, and it definitely was fresh. I also got a shake, and that was definitely the cherry on top of everything. It was an oreo funnel cake shake, and wow, it was one of the best shakes I've ever had! The service was not bad. I came around closing time, and the employees were in closing mode, but they weren't really rushing me. Out of all the fast food places that are at Union Station, I'm glad I chose Shake Shack.

Need to travel 3 flights of stairs while remembering a 4 passbody code of digits where the #s seemingly change as you finally reach the door to type. That's literally the only complaint I could find - just put it on it on the receipt. No matter the state or location, I know I can count on exactly the same fresh ingredients, great fries and an amazing shake. Now PLEASE, P L E A S E simply add iceberg lettuce as a burger add on you'll conquer America and put McTrashys out of business once and for all!

Shake shack never disappoints. The six-piece nuggets were absolutely delicious--crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside. The fries could use a bit more seasoning, but still some good fries. the sunset lemonade was THE BEST! i love the flavor! Service was pretty good, and for ambiance they have straws, forks, spoons, mayo, pepper, ketchup, everything you need to make your meal good.

This was my first time & I will say it was a great experience! The customer service was outstanding! Everyone was very attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. Anjelica and staff went above and beyond to create a welcoming atmosphere. The food was delicious, and the overall experience was top-notch. I’ll definitely be coming back!

1st time here in Washington DC and thought I would try a new restaurant like the Shake Shack..I have to say the meat is good and juicy and the overall meal is great thru and thru. The lemonade is very good too. Next time you are here try it

For a busy restaurant in Union Station, this place is amazing... outstanding service, especially by Meles, who greeted me with a smile, brought me water and brought my food right to a table....(that he cleaned for me and pulled the chair out as well)...this is a take out burger joint...he didn't have to do that. Food was pretty good too, quick, hot and tasty! Even the music was good!

Went there after a long day of travelling with the family, including my 1 and 3 year old. It was busy, but steady paced from a service perspective. Food was good, salted pretzel milkshake was amazing!!!! I do need to single out Chao, who went above and beyond to make sure my kids were looked after. Chao saw the kids, and asked if we needed a high chair and then brought it over along with crayons and a clouding sheet for my oldest. Chao then took the service buzzer and said they would bring our food over, which they did. Chao also checked in on us multiple times, each polite. I would 100% go back, just for the service we got from Chao. Whomever reviews this from Shake Shack, please make sure Chao gets some kind of recognition, hopefully monetary. Hook them up with some . They're worth it!!!!

Maybe it was because I was starving and wouldn't be able to get food for the next three hours but this location was the best Shake Shack I've been too. My go to burger is the Shack Stack and it was perfect. The patty was nice and juicy and the mushroom was hot and gooey. The fries were piping and crispy and my strawberry shake really hit the spot. Definitely stop by before your journey.
